Dr. Steven Bigg, MD earned his BA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Bigg completed his internship at Washington University School of Medicine, where he also completed residency in urology. He joined Urological Surgeons, Inc. after completing his residency program in September, 1991.

Dr. Bigg is a member of the American Urology Association and American Society of Clinical Urologists. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has published several articles in urological research and has received certification in Extracorporeal Lithotripsy and Laser Surgery. He is actively involved in multiple clinical research trials for the development of new treatment for prostate and bladder cancer. He is also frequently requested to make presentations to both professional and lay groups on various urological topics.
With Metropolitan Urological Specialists, Inc., Dr. Bigg practices at three locations: Christian Northeast, St. John’s Mercy and DePaul Hospitals. He also has both morning and afternoon appointments for the convenience of his patients.
